The Galleries here represent work that is up to now all from photographic source material that is highly manipulated utilizing a variety of techniques including blending modes, pixel bending plugins, “double exposure” layering or sandwiching, and more. A highly “caffeinated” re-examination of Javascapes macros utilizing a double-exposure and blending technique discovered through experimentation. The images range in “style” from mandalic to totemic to abstract to otherworldly. Let your mind’s eye wander and your imagination dance.
The majority of the work in this gallery is currently from subject matter in and around Downtown York, Pennsylvania. The “base” photographs range from the commonplace and decaying to architecture and architectural elements. The originals are transformed to reveal the spirit of the city and its inhabitants in abstract form.
